We car pool to games and need parents to keep score, bring snacks and other support. Please contact your child's coach and let them know you are available to help asap!

Tuesday January 8 we will take the Soccer pictures outside on the lawn and Friday January 11 we will take Basketball and Cheer photos in the gym. Envelopes will be handed out on Monday January 7 and available in the school office. Please send your child with thier uniform in the morning so no teams are delayed waiting.
Schedules Updated
Parents, check for time changes on your child's team. Some games have moved an hour or a few minutes. Renweb seems to have the most current, accurate times and locations for all games.

Football Playoffs
The excitement at the Football game last Saturday night was evident! Our Varsity football team fought hard and played a close game until the final minutes when Russel Gage intercepted the ball. Collin Keoshian broke his own school record for rushing at 325 yards. They now face the #3 ranked team, Avalon. Although Avalon will have to take a slow boat to play us, we are expected to fall to the Lancers. Coach Moss and his staff are preparing to pull off a second playoff upset and advance to the Semi finals Thanksgiving weekend.
Volleyball Playoffs
What a great finish the Girls Varsity Volleyball team had! On last Thursday the Girls played an away game at San Gabriel Academy where they dominated the court and won in 3 games. They advanced to the next round where they faced the 06 and 05 CIF Champions, Desert Christian Bermuda Dunes. This team was undefeated when they arrived for a home game at the SCCS Gym. The girls waged an intense battle and lost in 5 games. We are proud of the effort of this team. They will attend the Sports Awards Ceremony on Monday, December 17, 6:30.

Just a reminder: all athletes who are scheduling SAT tests should check their sports schedules. SAT testing usually occurs on the first Saturday of the month. If you play football, there is a game on next month's SAT testing day. If you play winter sports the December date may be a conflict. Please remember to touch base with your coach as early as possible to let them know whether or not you plan to take the test.

Celebration Bar-B-Que
We have had a great response for sides and desserts for our feast. We are gathering bar-b-ques, chefs and other needed items tomorrow morning. Mrs. Cantisano secured a donation of TRI-TIP! Messages have been coming from all the iserve groups and the testimony is greater than we could have imagined. We cannot wait to see what God has done in our students and our teachers. A huge thank you needs to go out to Mrs. Cantisano for all her coordination and effort to help create this first ever SCCS service project.

i-Serve
Matthew 25:31-46
For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me. Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, Lord when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? (vs. 35-36)
Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me. (vs. 40)
This passage is our driving force as we prepare for i-Serve. As believers we are called to be servants; to love others. It excites me to know that our students are taking part in this ministry oppoturnity. I pray that God changes our hearts as we embark on a new journey. The time will come when we stand before the Lord; may we work hard with great anticipation for that day.
More info will be coming on each event. Check back for pictures and summaries.
